My Trip To N5, by Antony Georgiou

I have just returned from my European adventure that began on the 12 October and returned to Australia on the 9 November 2016. The main reason for my holiday was to achieve a life long dream of watching The Arsenal play live. When i booked my dream holiday i had no idea how to get tickets to a premier league game. I followed the Facebook page and saw the advantages of being an Arsenal Australia Supporters club member. By becoming a member i was able to get access to apply for tickets to Arsenal matches. I applied for tickets for the games at home against Swansea and Boro. When the email from the AASC Ticketing department came through saying i was fortunate to get tickets i was so very happy.

Game day arrived in the UK and i was so excited for this game i hopped on the tube and headed to the Emirates stadium at 9am.I spent over an hour in the armoury shop and spent over 200 pounds on merchandise with the highlight being purchasing a Ozil jersey. 10:40am arrived and did the match day tour of the stadium. Recommend if you are attending a game to do this tour. Was a great feeling seeing: the directors box, the coaches box, the entrance for the players, the tunnel before kick off and the museum at the end was amazing. After my tour there was a massive line at the ticketing gates to get tickets for the game. People around the world wanted to watch a game so bad but i was fortunate enough that my ticket that was obtained thanks to Arsenal Australia.

At 1pm i was so excited that i went into the stadium early and sat in my seat. These tickets were fantastic and in my opinion the best in the stadium. 3pm arrived and the players had entered the field. I was so excited, happy and even had tears in my eyes that i finally achieved my life goal to go to an Arsenal game. I couldn’t believe my luck watching my favourite players run out such as Özil, Sanchez, Bellerin, Carzola and Koscielny to name a few.

The game ended with a 3-2 win to Arsenal. The game had everything:- great goals, good build up play, crowd was awesome, red cards and a tense finish. Best part about it was i able to do the same thing next week against Boro.

It was one of my best experiences in my life and a  big thank you to the guys at Arsenal Australia. They went out of my way to assist and get me tickets to this game. If your an Arsenal fan in Australia i suggest you become a member. Because of them they made my dream come true and a result will be a member for life.

Thank you Arsenal Australia 🙂
