Will be interesting to see the teams response... apparently Wenger gave them a fair spray in the sheds and he has not defended anyone in the press when normally he will defend them for everything... I hope they go out and spank the blue scum and get our title hopes alive again.. but I will watch and hope but who knows which Arsenal will turn up,,,,

CMON YOU ARSENAL!!!!!!!!!

I'm not confident. We have been much better this season at dealing out punishment to lesser teams and not dropping points to relegation battlers as we have done over the past few seasons but the last two games against Man Utd and Chelsea show that something is still lacking. With a bit of steel and self belief hopefully they can scrap out a 1-0 result, though it's rare for us to keep a clean sheet against the big two these days so we need to be strong at the back and hopefully we are wearing our shooting boots!

Also, we need Diaby back, he was in hot form over xmas/new year and was adding real power and a physical presence to the midfield. He was probably helping Song's game too. My opinion.

I am also not confident we can get a result out of this one. Over the past few games I have noticed we don't even seem to be getting shots on target. Arsh was the main culprit v Manure. I hate to admit it but I watched the Scum Leeds cup replay (preying for a bloodbath & Leeds win), but as we know that did not happen. What did impress me, I hate to say this - was Defoe always hits the target. Does'nt always score but at least he makes someone have to block or make a save. :D :D

Well it's a funny old game, jumpers for goalposts, a game of wembley, rolling the ball in dogs muck so your friend doesnt header the winner, men sneaking off into the bushes while their wives feed the ducks, aaarrrggghhh childhood days.

The greatest game on earth, 22 battling competitiors, tanned , bronzed and rippling muscles, 5 quid for a luke warm pie, no smoking in the stadium, mustn't sing politicaly incorrect songs, russian mafia, texan oil barons, mercenary old players trying to get as much money as they can, have to win something every season or the fans wont like it, money , money money, glory ,glory ,glory, ooohhhh the modern game!!!!!!!

Would love a win, but will be happy witha draw, although 3 points is a must, another loss and more stories of fab leaving :x :x :x

After the last schermozzle it is hard to see us getting an away win...stranger things have happened but methinks not this time..... I'll be watching the game at "the Grapes" on the big screen by the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol......with some outstanding ale......although we'd all like three points, it is hard to see where they will come from, I feel the best we could get is a draw, lets hope for an upset......my thoughts

I'm just speechless! Why we always get punished when we gave away a break! FFS!!! We played so well and yet we're giving goals like some championship teams...i'm confused really..

Really gutted, we can't compete for the title unless we can consistantly put the ball in the back of the net.......we had so many chances, and so much possession, yet we just don't do anything with it.........we also have such small short arse players, that we loose possession when we put it in the air. We need some players with a bit more beef to flex a bit of muscle up front. Our defence just fell away at times, our heads dropped and we looked like we weren't interested..........I took rayc's advice and watched the game with a cider (scrumpy actually).....a good hit. Hopefully we will sort Liverpool out on Wed night.....doesn't the team know I've come all this way to see them win at least one game.....my thoughts

No suprises there. Bendtner should have come on after about half hour. We really need to move the ball faster too so the opposition can't stack the box with defenders.

Not a surprise we lost, we r just not good enough at the moment.
Wenger is treading on thin ice and will now place all his emphasis on the champions league which we will lose again.
I hate to say it but the changing of the guard is drawing closer.....

'The Boy Wonder' MUST be blackmailing Arsene to get a game. What a waste of space !. How do all the blokes on the bench feel when they see him start in front of them in such an important game. They must think "allo here we go again - the boss must think he's better than us". I'm sick of pointing out what a s**t player this little muppet is week in week out. Loan or sell him. Bentner needs a start to build his confidance again. He was doing OK before he was injured. If we don't get a result against 'Pool" I think we may struggle to hold on to a top 4 position. :D :D
