In regards to Ticketing, the Arsenal Australia Membership provides access for Australian Residents on a short term basis, ie. for Members travelling to UK on holiday for a few weeks. We get our allocation of Tickets prior to them going on sale to Arsenal Silver and Red Members, but this also means you need to plan ahead and apply approx 10 weeks before the match. We recommend our Membership if you are going over to UK for a short period, but longer term you might be better with a Red Membership via Arsenal, as once you have attended 1 game, your priority to get tickets via Arsenal Australia is decreased for that season. The terms of our agreement with Arsenal, is that tickets for our Members should not be used by those based on the UK long term, and we monitor this to adhere to that, and also to give our Members who reside in Australia to get the opportunity to attend matches.
To check how successful we are going so far this season, please head to the frequently updated Ticketing News Item
Arsenal Ticket News 24/25This depends on many different factors which can impact how many tickets we are allocated, Weekday fixtures we often get a better allocation from Arsenal, as local european based clubs tend to prefer weekend fixtures, and at Christmas time we usually get a high allocation than usual too, but thats also when many of our Members in the UK. Arsenal Australia used to have a fantastic record of receiving our full ticket allocation, often only falling a few seats short for the occasional big games, but towards the end of the 22/23 and then again midst the 23/24 season, with a surge in Memberships and thus ticket applications, we havent been receiving full allocations. The aim to get every Member to least 1 game per season, but this usually only possible if applying for a few matches, and being a member for least 4-12 months. Please refer to latest Ticketing article in the News section for latest information, or how successful we have been for recent matches, and the longevitiy of membership required to be successful for that match.
The best advice is to sign up as early as possible as this will increase your chances of tickets. Where Arsenal are unable to meet the Arsenal Australia demand for tickets, priority will be given to:
• those Members with the longest continued Membership status
• those who have not already been allocated tickets for that season
Checks will also be done to enforce that those who applied for multiple tickets have a family Membership, and offering 2 tickets to those with a family Membership if less than 10 tickets allocated, and 3 tickets if under 20 tickets where required
Arsenal have previously said we can apply for approx. 20 tickets per match.
But in Jan 2024, Arsenal have warned that many international supporters clubs will see a reduction in number of tickets available, as online pressure from many silver Members missing out on tickets, has meant less tickets will be available for international supporters clubs. Please refer to latest News Article for Ticketing, which is updated with how successful we have been for recent matches, as can be seen was approx 20 tickets per match, but then was more often approx 10 tickets.
The worse part of volunteering to help with ticketing, is getting the email from Arsenal when we don’t get all required tickets, and knowing I have to send emails onto our Members. So lets all hope we are successful in getting all required tickets.
2023/24 - please refer to the https://arsenalaustralia.com.au/lnews/ticketing-news-23-24/ which is was frequently updated on how successful we have been receiving tickets this season thus far. Noting that we have not been receiving a full allocation,With key info being that which has meant Members joining within last 6 months were have been unsuccessful for many matches earlier in seasonfor Forest, then for Category A matches, and for Spurs you needed to have been an AASC Member since 2018, but then as we received 6 ticketstowards end of the season recently signed up new members were offered tickets, mainly because many applicants had already been offered a ticket that season.
2022/23 - Arsenal Australia applied for 870 tickets, and received 403 tickets from The Arsenal. There were 301 of our Members who applied for tickets, and 225 attended at least 1 game as many applied for multiple games. We were managing to get most to at least 1 game, but this wasnt achieveable towards the end of season when received less than 10 tickets per match, and had 117 applications for the last game vs Wolves. For further details of how we fared in regards Ticketing for each match, please refer to the News tab, and the 2023/24 ticketing article.
2021/22 - Post Covid, Arsenal Australia and The Arsenal were able to supply tickets again near to Xmas, and helped every Member/family who submitted applications for tickets to the Emirates. Received applications for approx 10 tickets per match. And for last game of season vs Everton we received all 21 tickets applied for.
2019/20 - Had another good season getting most of the tickets we require from Arsenal. We usually apply for 20-30 tickets per match, but Arsenal have provided an allocation up to 47 where required too. The games we have fallen short of tickets were Tottenham, Man City, Chelsea and Man Utd. Over Xmas, which is typically a busy period for ticketing, with 3 big home games, we had applications for 195 tickets for these matches, and received 125 tickets, so we were pleased to get everyone to at least 1 match they have applied for.
2018/19 season, we received 224 applications from Arsenal Australia Members. From a total of 385 tickets, we were allocated 357 tickets from Arsenal. The games where we fell few short, were against top 4 at home, and the last game of season.
So we continue to be confident we can help get most of you tickets to watch The Arsenal live.
Become a Member of Arsenal Australia if you are not already. Once you are a Member you can log into the website, head to 'My Account' and a 'ticketing' link will appear. Click that link and it will open the screen with all current games open to applications.
i) Applications come in via Arsenal Australia Website, prior to Arsenal closing the Application Window, which is usually 8 weeks prior to matchday (but less at start of season) .
ii) Arsenal then let us know within 7-10 days how many tickets we will receive for the match.
iii) Payment is requested from our Members, and usually give Members between 4-7 days to pay. Emails are usually sent over the weekend, and request payment by the following Thursday. Non payment for tickets you request in this period is frustrating, as if there is no one to take those tickets, we then need to personally contact Arsenal and cancel tickets, which is additional work for us, and them to process a refund. So this will be noted on file, and you might recieve less priority for oversubscribed matches
iv) Number of Tickets required by Arsenal Australia is then confirmed with the Arsenal Box Office.
v) Arsenal send us the PDF tickets to distribute approx. 1 week before the match.
vi) Arsenal Australia then try to distribute the tickets 4 days prior to matchday.
Tickets generally become available on the Ticketing page between 10-12 weeks prior to the Match day for Premier League matches, and the application window will often be open for 2 or 3 weeks.
